The Amazing Preservation Race

The Amazing Preservation Race is the ultimate scavenger challenge! The only race of its kind – think CBS’s Amazing Race but in historic downtown San Antonio. Get up close and personal with San Antonio’s historic sites in this unique and challenging course. Teams of 4 must follow clues and complete fun challenges to fill their passports before racing to the finish.

What to Expect

Course length is approximately 3-4 miles based on the order you complete challenges.
The race will start promptly at 9 am at Hemisfair.
You can walk, but remember that this is a race. We encourage both runners and walkers of all abilities to compete!
Racers must bring a smart phone to figure out clues and challenges and navigate the course.
This challenge must be completed on foot (no scooters, bikes, or rideshares!)
This is a competition! Prizes for the top three teams and best costume.
